Time Goes On (Song)

Clock of information desk at Grand Central Station

Your life passes through the cords of time,
ticking and aging before your eyes.
Why do you often say to yourself,
there's always time for another try.

Tick, tick, goes that clock.
I gotta get going, no time to stop.
Hurried, hurried on goes my pace...
I've got to keep running,
if I'm ever going to win this race.

The years go by like a stormy wind,
breaking and blowing through your life.
The shattered pieces of your world,
lay all around you in mounting strife.

Tick, tick, goes that clock.
I gotta get going, no time to stop.
Hurried, hurried on goes my pace...
I've got to start sprinting,
if I'm ever going to win this race.

Troubles weighting heavy on your mind,
yet never stopping, never looking back.
My life goes round and around,
this perpetual and treacherous track.

Tick, tick, goes that clock.
I gotta get going, no time to stop.
Hurried, hurried on goes my pace...
Glancing back to gauge my lead,
I see only one... running this race.

Why I Love You (Song)

France, Paris, young couple outdoors, man holding flowers behind back

I love the way you walk, with that cute little sway.
I love the way you talk, your accent gives you away.
Your hair shines so bright, in the midst of the lights.
That's just some of the reasons,
why I love you., why I love you.

I love you through the rain and all life's little pains.
I'd carry you through the storms,
when you can't go on.
All I want from life, is to have you in my sight.
That's just some of the reasons,
why I love you, why I love you.

I love your smile so sweet, a treasure I want to keep.
Your loving lips so soft, to kiss them lights my life.
Your all my Life to me, everything life could be.
That's just some of the reasons,
why I Love you, why I love you.

The Dry Lake

Southeastern U.S. Stricken With Extreme Drought

Driving down the Highway of Life,
I saw a lake all cold and dry.
Then I turned my wheel to see,
this sight that caught my eye.

I walked it's shores vast and long,
to know the wonders from whence it came.
Yet the lake I once knew,
was dry and barren without remains.

How could this be, oh Lord, I asked?
Why take Thou, the Water,
whereby all that live rely?

The Lord said, open thy mouth
speak to the dry lake,
then shall I send forth waters
to restore that which Satan take.

I thought, my Lord the Lake is vast and long,
and I am but one man, without a plan.
Question me not, but cast thy voice
upon the vast lake of your doubt.
That I may spring forth rivers,
of everlasting life, ending this drought.
Forever ending this unending drought.

Tears of Angel

Girl Dressed as an Angel

Daddy why does it thunder and rain,
and make my day cold and gray?
It makes me feel afraid.

Daddy will I get to see Grandpa again,
when I go to heaven? Will I still be eleven?
Mommy, will I get to see Cubby again,
and tickle her pick belly?
She's my best Friend.

There's a place where we'll all go,
that someday only God will show.
To live out our days, in praise.

With no fears and no doubts,
and all the trumpets will shout.
For the King of Kings,
will reign forever more, forever more.
Praise to the King,
for Jesus Christ is His name,
bow not your heads in shame.
